Library Resources & Services for Online Classes: Home

Welcome to the Milne Library's guide for students enrolled in online courses.

As an online student you will have access to ebooks, journal articles (both print and online), DVDs, online newspapers, databases, and IM Chat much as an on-campus student would.

The tabs above will help you:

  • Start your research
  • Obtain articles and books from a distance

Accessing Electronic Resources off-Campus

IMPORTANT!  When you try to use a resource from off campus, you will be prompted for your Geneseo ID and password (this is the same ID and password you use to access your geneseo email account). Once that's verified, you'll get a link to begin using the database through the proxy server.

If you don't know your Geneseo ID/password or need assistance accessing myCourses for your online class, you can contact the CIT HelpDesk.
