HUMN 220: Western Humanities 1 (Brubaker): Chicago / Turabian

Chicago Style

The Chicago Manual of Style is often used in the social sciences and humanities.  In addition to citation styles, there is also useful information on grammar and writing style, so it can be useful to actually look at the print manual.

Turabian refers to A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and  Dissertations.  If your instructor does not specify a style guide, this is the one to use.  It is a simplified version of the Chicago Manual of Style and is used by researchers everywhere.
