Microaggression is a brief and commonplace daily verbal, behavioral, and environmental indignity, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicates hostile, derogatory, or negative racial, gender, sexual orientation, and religious slights and insults to the target person or group (Wing Sue, 2019).
